Arsenal thrashed Tottenham 5-0 in Sunday's north London derby in the Women's Super Leaguemanaloplay, but Chelsea's last-gasp win over Everton denied the Gunners the chance to make up ground on the leaders. (More Football News)

An own goal by Tottenham defender Clare Hunt gave Arsenal a 15th-minute lead in front of a 56,784-strong crowd at the Emirates Stadium, and the floodgates opened from there.

Mariona Caldentey doubled their lead prior to half-time before Frida Maanum and Alessia Russo put the game beyond Spurs early in the second half.

Manchester City loanee Chloe Kelly came on for her second Arsenal debut at 4-0, getting an excellent reception on her return to the club she first joined as a 12-year-old.

In the first match, Haryana thrashed Rajasthan 6-1. Rohit Rana (2nd minute), Sunil Maan (11th), Sahil Ruhal (17th) and Ami Khasa (60th) scored one goal each, while Navraj Singh (7th, 37th) struck a brace for Haryana.

The first match of the final round of group matches took place between Korea and Malaysia and resulted in a 3-3 draw. The splitting of points confirmed Korea's qualification to the semifinal. The draw also ensured that Pakistan would finish second in the group regardless of their result in their last group match against India.

Emily Fox completed the rout with a long-distance piledriver in the 90th minute, taking third-placed Arsenal up to 30 points from 14 games this season.

Renee Slegers' side are still 10 points away from the summit, though, after Chelsea fought back to preserve their unbeaten record for 2024-25 and beat Everton 2-1.

Sonia Bompastor's runaway league leaders looked set to suffer their first defeat of the campaign when Kelly Gago fired home to stun Kingsmeadow in the 51st minute.

However, Mayra Ramirez levelled 12 minutes later and as the clock ticked into the 93rd minute,ff777 Lauren James proved the hero.

She tucked a clever finish into the bottom corner from 25 yards out to give Chelsea their 13th win in 14 league games under Bompastor, capping a day that also saw Kiera Walsh make her first WSL start since joining the Blues from Barcelona.

Chelsea's lead over Manchester United still stands at seven points, after Marc Skinner's team recorded a sixth straight win, seeing off struggling Crystal Palace 3-1.

Elisabeth Terland struck twice for United either side of Mille Gejl squeezing in an equaliser for bottom club Palace, whose hopes of a comeback were killed off by Grace Clinton's late header.

Palace started the day three points adrift of closest rivals Leicester City at the foot of the table, but the Foxes leapfrogged Aston Villa with a 3-0 triumph, doubling their buffer to Palace.

Janice Cayman scored twice, her second goal followed up within a minute by Julie Thibaud, as Leicester earned just their third win of 2024-25, leaving Villa 11th and four points clear of Palace.

There was further movement in the bottom half as West Ham claimed an impressive 3-1 win over Brighton, moving up to eighth in the table.

Shekiera Martinez and Nikita Parris exchanged early goals, but Riko Ueki put the Hammers ahead just after the hour before a Viviane Asseyi penalty made the points safe.

Brighton remain fifth but could find themselves 10 points off the top four later on Saturdaymanaloplay, with Manchester City facing Liverpool.
